CSB Schimmel Automobile is the overall winner of the Automotive Business Awards 2024

We at CSB Schimmel Automobile came out on top in the digitalisation category with an innovative approach to HR marketing. In view of the current shortage of staff and skilled labour in the automotive industry, we face the challenge of recruiting qualified workers for vehicle sales and workshops in Berlin’s demanding capital city labour market.

To tackle this problem, we rely on social performance recruiting and a simple application process using a lead funnel system. We place targeted video adverts on the Facebook and Instagram platforms and enable potential candidates to apply in less than 60 seconds. The videos are presented by our own employees, especially automotive mechatronics technicians, which increases the authenticity and credibility of the adverts. The entire conception and production of the videos is carried out in-house. This innovative approach leads to a significantly higher number of applications and considerably reduces costs compared to conventional adverts on job portals.
