Technical details
The Shift by Wire function on the centre console allows the driver to change gear at the touch of a button. Key connectivity and vehicle functions can be operated at the touch of a button on the steering wheel. With Hyundai SmartSense, the NEXO integrates state-of-the-art driver assistance systems that provide support in advance and intervene if necessary. For example, automatic parking assistance with remote control and active lane keeping assistance are included as standard.
Emission-free driving is possible with the Hyundai NEXO thanks to its fuel cell drive. Hydrogen from three hydrogen tanks and oxygen from the outside air flow separately into the fuel cell. The resulting reaction between the two substances generates electricity, which is used to drive the electric motor. The harmless emission product, water vapour, is discharged to the outside.
