Optimised drive train
A completely new dynamic cornering control system is making its debut in the MG4 Electric XPOWER. The system consists of an electronic limited slip differential and intelligent engine control, which together enable torque vectoring between all four wheels. This achieves outstanding traction and stability in a wide range of driving situations.
Technical details
The new MG4 Electric XPOWER has been equipped with a completely recalibrated spring and damper set-up, which, in combination with stiffer stabilisers and direct-response steering, ensures an impressive driving experience. The overall stiffness of the chassis has been increased by up to 25 per cent, resulting in even more stability and control.
In addition, braking performance has been improved, reducing the braking distance from 100 km/h to 0 km/h to just 33.9 metres. With these technological upgrades, the MG4 Electric XPOWER offers driving pleasure at the highest level and optimum safety for the driver and passengers.

The MG4 Electric is available in the four equipment lines Standard, Comfort, Luxury and XPOWER and starts at a price of €32,312.50**. * This vehicle has been type-approved exclusively in accordance with the World Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP), a new test procedure for measuring fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The stricter test conditions of the WLTP are intended to provide more realistic fuel consumption and CO2 emission values. The WLTP has replaced the previous NEDC test procedure since 1 September 2018 and fuel consumption and CO2 emission values according to the NEDC are no longer available for this vehicle.
