The Mitsubishi Colt impresses as a modern small car with a clear message: a large equipment package, low running costs and a manufacturer's warranty that is unrivalled in its class. With four equipment lines, three engine variants and a starting price from €18,290, the Colt is aimed at all those who don't want to do without anything in city traffic and on commuter routes. As a new vehicle, the Colt is available from Schimmel Automobile with personalised advice, fair conditions and the manufacturer's full warranty service - on request also as a lease or with individual financing.

The cockpit of the Mitsubishi Colt is clearly structured, has a high-quality finish and is geared towards modern usage habits. Even in the entry-level PLUS line, the driver is greeted by a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connection via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you upgrade to the Edition or TOP, you get a 9.3-inch
touchscreen1 with a full 3D navigation system including linked services such as Google Places, traffic reports1
, fuel prices and current weather
data1. The top model adds a 10.25-inch full digital
instrument display1 to the cockpit, which summarises all relevant vehicle and navigation information and adapts visually to the respective Multi-Sense
driving mode1. Ambient lighting in eight selectable colours gives the interior a personal touch, even at night. The Colt's seats are comfortable and offer good lateral support; in the Edition and TOP, the upholstery is made from a fabric/artificial
leather combination1 that significantly enhances the overall appearance. Heated front seats in two stages and a heated leather steering wheel are not optional extras, but are included as standard in all equipment lines.
The Mitsubishi Colt is available in three engine variants. The 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine with 49 kW (67 PS)3
and 5-speed gearbox is the entry-level model - solid and uncomplicated for city driving. Those looking for more torque can opt for the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 67 kW (91 PS)4
and a 6-speed gearbox. The highlight is the full hybrid: 105 kW (143 PS)5
system output, multi-mode automatic transmission and fuel consumption of just 4.2 litres per 100 km - without the need for a charging stop.
With us you are in the best hands when it comes to spare parts and accessories. With our extensive range, we offer you the highest standards and best quality.

Smartphone integration is not part of the Mitsubishi Colt's premium catalogue. Apple CarPlay2
and Android Auto2
are already available wirelessly via the 7-inch touchscreen in the entry-level PLUS line. This means that music, navigation, phone calls and voice control are available directly via the vehicle display - without any cable connection. From the Edition line upwards, the screen grows to 9.3 inches and is expanded to include a complete 3D
navigation system1 . This is linked to networked services: Google Places for location searches, real-time traffic reports, current fuel prices and weather information are integrated directly into the navigation system. At the same time, the inductive charging option in the centre console enables the wireless charging of smartphones with a corresponding charging function - without annoying cables in the field of vision. In the TOP trim level, the 10.25-inch
fully digital display1 is added, which combines navigation instructions and vehicle data directly in the driver's field of vision.
If you don't want to compromise on sound quality while driving, the Mitsubishi Colt TOP has an audio system that is unrivalled in its class. The BOSE® premium sound system1
with nine loudspeakers and a powerful subwoofer delivers a complete surround sound experience that impresses both during relaxed cruising and sporty driving. The speakers are tuned to the Colt's interior acoustics, which makes a clearly audible difference compared to generic sound systems. The system can be operated via the 9.3-inch touchscreen1
or the multifunction steering wheel - without having to take your eyes off the road.
The Mitsubishi Colt is equipped with a comprehensive package of driver assistance and safety systems as standard, which goes far beyond the minimum required by law. In all equipment lines, an emergency brake assistant with pedestrian and cyclist detection, an active lane departure warning system, traffic sign recognition and an intelligent speed assistant ensure active safety in everyday driving. LED headlights and light and rain sensors are also included from the start at no extra charge.
The assistance package is significantly extended from the Edition line upwards: Blind
Spot Assist1 provides a visual warning in the wing mirror as soon as a vehicle appears in the blind spot. Highbeam
Assist1 recognises oncoming vehicles and automatically switches to low beam as soon as there is a risk of dazzle. The adaptive cruise
control1 maintains the desired cruising speed and automatically regulates the speed to a standstill in traffic jams - a real gain in comfort on long motorway journeys.
The TOP line supplements the package with the most powerful parking
aid1 in the class: a semi-automatic parking assistant with 12 sensors scans the available parking space and independently takes over the steering movements when parking. A reverse parking assistant with rear view camera support makes it easier to leave perpendicular parking spaces when visibility of moving traffic is poor. The 360-degree surround camera1
provides a bird's eye view of the vehicle's entire surroundings and makes even the tightest parking situations manageable.
From the Edition line upwards, the Colt has an electronic parking brake1
with auto-hold function. This sounds like a technical detail, but it makes a noticeable difference in everyday life: the vehicle stops automatically on every incline and at every traffic light - without the driver having to stand on the brake pedal all the time. The system automatically selects the correct brake pressure depending on the gradient. When starting off, the auto-hold function gently releases the vehicle as soon as the driver accelerates. Anyone who spends a lot of time travelling in city traffic or on hilly terrain will quickly appreciate this function.
The keyless access system is standard in all equipment lines of the Mitsubishi Colt - no optional extra, no feature you have to look for first. As soon as the driver comes within range of the vehicle with the key in their pocket, the door lock unlocks automatically. The engine is started with a simple press of the start/stop button. This saves time, especially in everyday situations with full hands. From the Edition line upwards, electrically folding exterior mirrors are added. They can be folded in at the touch of a button and reduce the effective width of the vehicle in tight parking spaces and multi-storey car parks - a practical detail that significantly reduces the risk of parking damage.
Automatic air conditioning, two-stage heated front seats and a heated leather steering wheel are not optional extras in the Mitsubishi Colt - they are included as standard in all three equipment lines. This is not a matter of course in the compact class and makes the Colt an extremely pleasant everyday vehicle, especially in winter. The automatic climate control automatically regulates the interior temperature to the desired value and keeps it constant - regardless of the outside temperature and sunlight.
The height of the driver's seat can be adjusted, enabling an ergonomically correct seating position for different body sizes. From the Edition line upwards, the seat covers are finished in a high-quality fabric/artificial
leather combination1 , which signals a different level of quality both visually and haptically. A centre
armrest1 at the front is also standard from the Edition upwards and noticeably increases long-distance comfort.
The Multi-Sense
system1 is exclusive to the TOP equipment level of the Mitsubishi Colt and offers three individual driving profiles that change far more than just the engine characteristics. In ECO mode, the energy flow is optimised and the air conditioning system is operated more efficiently to reduce fuel consumption to a minimum. SPORT mode sharpens the engine's response behaviour, adjusts the steering assistance and gives the Colt a noticeably more direct, dynamic feel. The customisable MY-SENSE mode allows the driver to save their own combination of engine characteristics, climate settings and ambient lighting colour.
The ambient lighting in eight colours automatically adapts to the selected driving profile - a subtle but effective feature that keeps the interior lively in everyday life. The instrument display also changes colour depending on the active profile, so that the driver can immediately see which mode they are driving in.
Light and rain sensors are standard in all equipment lines of the Mitsubishi Colt. The light sensor automatically detects diminishing daylight and switches the headlights on to suit the situation - when entering tunnels or multi-storey car parks as well as when fog or rain is approaching. The rain sensor automatically controls the windscreen wipers and adjusts their speed to the current level of precipitation without the driver having to intervene. Both systems help to ensure that the driver is less distracted in everyday driving and can concentrate fully on the traffic.
For a small car of its dimensions, the Mitsubishi Colt surprises with a very usable boot. The turbo version offers a load volume of 391 litres - a solid figure for the vehicle class, which can be increased to up to 1,069 litres by folding down the rear seat backrests. In the hybrid, the hybrid unit reduces the volume slightly to 301 litres normal or 979 litres with the backrests folded down - which is sufficient for everyday use, but can be an argument in favour of the turbo petrol engine if you regularly transport bicycles or larger items of furniture.
From the Edition line upwards, a double load compartment floor comes as standard. It not only makes loading and unloading easier, but also creates a completely flat loading area for bulky items when the rear seat bench is folded down. Another practical feature is the additional, invisible storage space under the load compartment cover, which is ideal for small luggage, tools or loading cables. The maximum roof load of 80 kg opens up additional transport options for bicycle racks or roof boxes.
When it comes to warranty, Mitsubishi sets a clear benchmark in the small car class. Anyone who buys a new Colt automatically receives a manufacturer's warranty of five years or up to 100,000 kilometres - at no extra charge, with no hidden conditions, valid from the day of first registration. This cover applies to all drive variants, i.e. both the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and the full hybrid.
The Colt's hybrid battery has its own extended warranty of eight years or up to 160,000 kilometres. This is an important signal for all those who have the residual value of the vehicle in mind or would like to purchase the Colt as a used car: The battery is still covered even if the general vehicle warranty has long since expired. As a rule, there are no maintenance costs for the battery - it is charged exclusively via recuperation and the combustion engine.

The Mitsubishi Colt is available in three drive variants - there is no diesel. The basic version comes with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 49 kW (67 PS)3
and a manual 5-speed gearbox. Its WLTP fuel consumption is 5.3 to 5.4 litres per 100 km, CO₂ emissions are 118 to 119 g/km, CO₂ class D. It is the most affordable and easy-to-maintain entry-level option.
The 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 67 kW (91 PS)4
and 6-speed manual gearbox is the mid-range engine. With a WLTP fuel consumption of 5.2 to 5.3 litres per 100 km and CO₂ emissions of 118 g/km (CO₂ class D), it delivers more dynamics with similar efficiency.
The full hybrid combines a 1.6-litre combustion engine with 69 kW (94 hp) and an electric motor with 36 kW (49 hp) to produce a system output of 105 kW (143 hp)5
. The multi-mode automatic takes over gear selection fully automatically. The WLTP fuel consumption is 4.2 to 4.3 litres per 100 km, CO₂ emissions are 96 to 97 g/km, CO₂ class C. The hybrid does not require an external charging option - it charges exclusively via recuperation and the combustion engine.
The Colt measures 4,053 mm in length, 1,798 mm in width and 1,439 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,583 mm and provides a surprisingly good amount of space in the interior. The turning circle of 10.4 metres makes the Colt particularly manoeuvrable in city traffic. The maximum towing capacity for braked trailers is 900 kg and the roof load is 80 kg. The boot capacity is 391 litres (normal) or 1,069 litres (folded down) for the turbo petrol engine and 301 litres or 979 litres for the hybrid.
The Colt's chassis is designed for comfort-orientated driving in city and country driving. A McPherson strut suspension is used at the front and a twist beam suspension at the rear. The front brakes are designed as simple disc brakes in the PLUS line; from the Edition line upwards, ventilated disc brakes are fitted, which handle heat better when used frequently on winding roads. The Colt brakes the rear wheels using drum brakes - a perfectly adequate technical solution for a vehicle of this class and weight. The steering is electrically assisted and works precisely without excessive effort. From the Edition onwards, the steering is supplemented by an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function.
The Mitsubishi Colt is available in three equipment lines: PLUS, Edition and TOP. All three share a solid level of standard equipment, which is above average for the vehicle class. The difference lies in the depth of connectivity, driving assistance and comfort. With the revision of the Mitsubishi Colt, the manufacturer has streamlined the model range - the BASIS line is no longer listed in the current data sheet. At Schimmel Automobile, however, we still have vehicles of the proven predecessor standard in stock, which we are happy to offer you at attractive conditions. A great way to enter the Colt world - with a full manufacturer's warranty and the usual Mitsubishi service.

Everything from the Edition line, additionally - combinable with turbo petrol engine and full hybrid:
The most affordable entry into the Colt world is the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 49 kW (67 hp) and 5-speed manual gearbox, available in the PLUS line. It is aimed at buyers looking for an uncomplicated, easy-to-maintain city companion.
The 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 67 kW (91 PS) is available in all three equipment lines. The PLUS line starts at €21,190, the Edition from €22,790 and the TOP line from €24,190.
The full hybrid with 105 kW (143 PS) system output is only available in the Edition and TOP equipment lines. The Edition Hybrid is available from €27,890, the TOP Hybrid from €29,190. Both variants benefit from the multi-mode automatic transmission and WLTP fuel consumption of 4.2 to 4.3 litres per 100 km.
In addition to the classic purchase, the Mitsubishi Colt is also available from Schimmel Automobile via leasing or a customised financing solution. Talk to us - we will be happy to put together a customised offer to suit your monthly budget planning. Additional conditions are available for commercial customers.
The Mitsubishi Colt is a discontinued model and is no longer in active production. However, at CSB Schimmel Automobile we offer you a large selection of daily registrations and used Mitsubishi Colt cars - for less than €20,000.
As a relatively young model - the current Colt was launched in 2023 - there is not yet a great deal of long-term experience available. No systematic technical weaknesses are known from previous driver reports and initial endurance tests. It should be noted that the hybrid's boot space of 301 litres is noticeably smaller than the turbo petrol engine's 391 litres - anyone who regularly transports a lot should take this point into account when making a purchase decision.
The current Mitsubishi Colt is technically based on the platform of the Renault Clio - a co-operation that resulted from the alliance between Renault and Mitsubishi. However, the vehicle is not a re-labelled Clio: the body, exterior and interior design, range of equipment, chassis set-up and, above all, the warranty services have been developed and coordinated specifically for Mitsubishi. The technical basis is shared by many manufacturers in modern vehicle construction - the Colt shares its engine and platform with the Clio, but offers an independent product identity, its own quality standards and the full Mitsubishi factory customer service. So for those who ask whether the new Mitsubishi Colt is a Renault: technically there are similarities, but as a product it is an independent Mitsubishi.
Mitsubishi has a long-standing reputation in Germany for reliability and solid workmanship. The current Colt was honoured with the reliability award by AUTO BILD, which underlines the positive perception in the vehicle class. The five-year manufacturer's warranty is another strong signal: manufacturers who have little confidence in the quality of their products do not offer such comprehensive cover. For buyers planning for the long term, the combination of proven technology, warranty coverage and optional extension is a clear argument.
We have Mitsubishi Colt models in our inventory that are already available for less than €20,000.
The current Mitsubishi Colt is officially a discontinued model. This means that Mitsubishi has not announced any further model updates or successor generations for this model. The background to this lies in the strategic reorientation of the brand in Europe: Mitsubishi is increasingly focusing on SUV and crossover models. For prospective buyers, the discontinued status is an indication that the available stocks are limited - anyone wishing to buy a new Mitsubishi Colt should act promptly. All warranty services, the factory customer service and the spare parts supply remain fully intact for the entire warranty period and beyond, even for discontinued models.
The Mitsubishi Colt is available in several attractive exterior colours. In our inventory you will currently find models in Aurora Red, Onyx Black, Antarctic White, Royal Blue and Agate Grey.
The Mitsubishi Colt is a very good choice for city drivers, commuters and anyone looking for a reliable everyday small car with a high level of standard equipment. Automatic air conditioning, LED headlights, Smart Key, heated seats and Lane Keeping Assist come as standard at no extra cost - a level of completeness that cannot be taken for granted in this vehicle class.
The Mitsubishi Colt is available with three engine variants. There is a 1.0-litre petrol engine with 49 kW (67 hp)3
and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 67 kW (91 hp)4
