How much fuel does a roof box consume?
The additional air resistance caused by a roof box can increase fuel consumption by around 2 litres per 100 kilometres. This additional consumption can vary depending on the size and shape of the roof box and the speed you are travelling at. To minimise fuel consumption, we recommend keeping your speed moderate.
